Tell you what I'm praying for... and I am a praying person...

The GOP to pull their heads out of their collective asses and realize that the vast majority want a fiscal conservative platform that doesn't attempt to push any social conservative agenda.

Then they'd wipe the floor with the democrats.

If they were smart enough to do that they would no longer be Republicans.

Is that the dem. platform? Who knew.

They'd be libertarians.

New polls in four battleground states show President Obama holding a lead of 5 to 7 points over Republican nominee Mitt Romney, reinforcing the national surveys that indicate that the incumbent gained ground with his convention last week.

Of the four, Obama’s largest lead comes in the critical state of Ohio, where he leads Romney 50% to 43% among likely voters, according to the latest NBC/Wall St. Journal/Marist University poll. The survey also polled likely voters in Florida, where Obama led 49% to 43%, and Virginia, where he led 49% to 44%.

In a separate survey by New Hampshire’s WMUR-TV, Obama led Romney 45% to 40% in that state.

According to real clear politics it has tightened up some. Everyone smart person knows that people love to do what others do. To me it is a lazy way to think but they are too busy to really get into this and I understand that. So, polls are the way to make people think that you should vote that way because everyone else is. It is manipulation. This is a toss up and will go down to the debates. First one is coming up here at DU! Yay on that one.

Yes, polls are "propaganda" and "manipulation"....(Limbaugh said so!)....Unless, of course, they're in your candidate's favor...And then they show that your candidate is WINNING! YAY! And that means the "American people have spoken!"

Yep! That's exactly correct for both sides except for the stuff in parenthesis - you gotta change the name.
