The other part of the equation is getting rid of special interests that show elected officials with money. Until that happens, they will NEVER listen to voters. It was a mistake to allow them to sway elected officials with gobs of cash and perks.
Like corruption is only now a problem? And is it really any different for a powerful legislator to shower his district with cash and un-needed infrastructure projects in essence buying votes with other American's money than giving Apple or Union Pacific a special tax break?
You are seeing dollars going where they aren't needed in both cases.

Well your're the first lib I've seen that likes McCain or blue dog dems. Maybe McCain was a better choice in 2008 since you think he is so willing to work with both sides unlike Obama who considers the right as "the enemy".
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
