Obama may be like Reagan, the Teflon president, this crippled economy just doesn't stick to him.

And Mitt has done a poor job convincing independent and moderate Democrats that he would get the economy going again.

So we get 4 more years of limping along on three flat tires.

Its a V-8 economy, running on 6 cylinders, with only 3 cylinders paying income taxes.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

 Good analogy

Not really. Cylinders don't pay income tax. It's like half an analogy.

It's going to keep limping along no matter who gets elected. Neither party is willing to make the hard decisions that it would take to pull us up out of this mess since it's unfavorable politically and they only care about getting re-elected.

Until campaign finance reform gets done, nothing changes. They'll keep spending their time at fundraisers instead of at work.

Exactly. I don't know why conservatives think if Romney is elected the economy will magically improve overnight.

The economy is going to have to run its course - all those bad investments need to work thru the system before we'll see any daylight. But the govt needs to stop throwing good money after bad. We need to cut the national budget drastically and across the board and Congress/POTUS whoever they are is not going to do that.

That is why it is time to kick the GOP obstructionists out. They have blocked every single jobs legislation proposed by the Democrats. The GOP is more interested in loyalty to their party than to the American public.

Romney has experience working getting legislation passed when the opposing party controls the legislature. Obama still doesn't.

Bipartisan job bills passed, what a concept instead of both parties passing DOA bills.

If Romney had faced a state legislature that vowed not to pass ANYTHING he put forth and made their #1 priority his replacement, he wouldn't have been able to pass legislation. A state legislature is far different from the U.S. Congress. And he left Mass. in terrible financial straits.
