Every four years since 2000, 7-Eleven has conducted a coffee cup poll, with the sales of candidate-branded coffee cups correctly predicting the actual winner in November three times in a row. Sales of Halloween masks of the two major-party candidates have predicted the next president since 1996, and the Scholastic News poll of students has been right 16 of the last 18 elections, going back to 1940.
What is the national demographic of folks that visit 7-11? I'm thinking lower and middle class people that are willing to fork over $2.00 for an item worth $1.00 out of convenience while they pump gas. I'm interested in what they think but not convinced they can predict the results of an election.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Raees wrote: If the poll had turned out the other way you wouldn't be the least bit interested in the demographic.
And therefore what?

Wow, it only took 7 messages to reach the "neener, neener, neener" stage with the Righties this time... I guess they're running out of intelligent arguments at an even a faster clip than I thought....
If Otis was reading the Declaration of Independence and he got to the part that said "We hold these truths to be self evident..." he'd respond with "And therefore what?"
