Obama administration: Don’t issue layoff notices

So the Left says it is OK for corporations to break the rules and not warn their employees that their jobs are in jeopardy? And LJ actually hopes these defense contractors do get shut down. She & VL have stated it more than once. Great, not only lie to your employees so it doesn't reflect badly on the President.
Clearly the buck doesn't stop here, Obama wants the buck hidden until after the election.

And that is the kind of response we get when you know what I posted is the gospel truth? Nice try....lousy comeback.

If anything hits the fan as a result of sequestration it's going to be all over the Republican congress critters faces. And well deserved.

Yeah, haven't you heard? Government doesn't "create jobs"... So, infrastructure jobs, and bridge-building, and food-inspectors, ... Not "government jobs"... So, if those aren't "government jobs", then I guess defense contracting jobs aren't either.

2012 may end up looking a lot like 2008

Back in 2008 the Republicans tried to negotiate with Obama and Barack told them elections have consequences and shut them out of new legislation. As Rev. Wright would say Barry's chickens coming home to roost.

You are correct for once, the government does not create jobs, only necessary and unnecessary taxpayer expenses. Not every expense they create is necessary or worth the money.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I didn't mean to argue for or against these jobs....I'm just saying a lot of Americans are working in them and if they go away then MORE Americans are going to be on the unemployment rolls.

Given the poor state of the job market, many of these people will not find employment and will not likely find equal paying employment. So they either become unemployed or underemployed. Not sure which is worse for America.

Clearly they won't lose their jobs until after the election so neither major party REALLY cares. But massive layoff notices will make a stink right before the election when consumer confidence...or a lack thereof....may impact how people vote when they go to the polls.

This and the whole sequestration thing is very interesting in a train wreck sort of a way.
