In other news:
Ballots Are in The Mail

More than 260,000 registered Jeffco voters will receive their mail-in election ballots in the next several days, according to Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder Pam Anderson. Ballots are being delivered to the United States Postal Service this week for Jefferson County voters and should begin arriving in voters’ mailboxes tomorrow.

In what has become a growing trend statewide, an increasing number of voters are signing up as Permanent Mail-In Voters (PMIV). Jefferson County has the highest population of Permanent Mail-In Voters in the state, with 80 percent of active Jeffco voters opting to have their ballots mailed to them. Statewide, 70 percent of Colorado voters have signed up for PMIV status.

Voters can apply for a mail-in ballot to be delivered to their home until Oct. 30.

Before I buy Stein signs, do you know if they are biodegradable?

They are not stolen, I found them- there's a difference. I collect them from public spaces like mountain park land - and common areas.

My father has already voted, somehow the guys at Jeffco are already accepting votes- he dropped his ballot right into the box.

I'd like to see mail in ballots outlawed- there is no way to verify that the vote being cast is from the person that the ballot was mailed to. The county clerk swears that they have a computer that verifys the signature- she'e lying through her teeth.

:VeryScared: I'm insulted on her behalf that you'd even ask!

(They'd better be edible too or I'm not voting for her!)

Early voting starts the 22nd I think...I wonder how he voted already.

My wife signs using my credit card all the time. Those signature verifications aren't very stringent.

Ah, my deepest apologies at doubting your ethical and moral conduct. :)

I love voting by mail-in, and until we are required to show ID to vote, it's the same damn thing whether it's done in person or not.

I don't know- he talked to the guy at the county- maybe he was at the taj mahal?
He's said he's going to be out of town on a cruise on election day- and they said no problem, just fill out your ballot and drop it in the box.

I'm not kidding.

Maybe Jill's signs are so expensive because they double as goat fodder. After November, you just feed them to the livestock. Bonus.

I don't think it will come down to Colorado. I think it will be decided between Ohio, Virginia and Florida.
