My wages aren't down, they have consistently risen for 30 years. So have most of the people I know, friends, co-workers, family. You must hang around with slackers.

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

I'd rather have time off than more money, just my opinion/preference.
Me too- When I was (union) working I had 7 weeks of paid vacation, 5 personal holidays, free flights, 880 hours of paid sick time, 5 years of paid occupational injury time, free health insurance, a 3.5k/month pension at age 55, 200k in life insurance...and a few other benefits. If I worked 1 minute more than 8 hours I got $50, if they needed me to start 1 minute early I got $50, if I had to take my lunch outside of the middle of the shift, I got $25...If I worked my day off I got $50/hour....For years I started a few minutes early, worked a few minutes late, and took an irregular lunch every single day..and the company still made billions of after tax profits..
And wether youre in one or not....Unions brought you the 40 hour work week, paid vacations, company paid health insurance, and paid sick time. The downfall of the middle class is directly related to the decline of unions and other labor protections- the erosion of collective bargaining is the main reason why Americans have seen their wages not stay up with inflation, because without collective bargaining pushing up wages for all - average incomes have stagnated.

"Employers are boosting benefits faster than wages, handing out stingy pay raises but making up for it by paying more for health insurance and other benefits, a USA TODAY analysis finds."

The graphs dont lie joe...The middle class is going away, havent you been watching the Romney commercials? Its called Real wages Joe- You don't understand the concept? If you are making 50k in 1995 and gas was $1/gallon and your IREA bill was $75, and now you make 50k and gas is $4/gallon and your IREA bill is $200....Then your quality of life is going down..
All I care about is quality of life, thats all i've ever cared about...I don't want to lose power, I don't want to lose my voice, and I want to have a good life...Whats the first thing dictators do when they take control of a county Joe? They abolish labor unions..Because they empower people, thats what you are Joe, youre a person..Everything you republicans do takes away power from the people, we the people..
Your a f-ing traitor to humainty and willingly want to give away rights that people died for- How can I not hate you?
