President Barack Obama, during an interview to be shown on Comedy Central, has responded to a question about his administration's confused communication after the Benghazi attack, by saying: 'If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.'
The president's "optimal" comment seemed to be a reference to Stewart's characterization of the response, since he used the same word in the previous statement. Some, however, have taken the comment to mean the president was saying the deaths themselves were "not optimal."
Parse the words any way you want, to me it's akin to this except in this case no one was killed or injured:

An anomaly occurred - translation - the rocket exploded and the flaming remains are falling from the sky.
Four American citizens were killed in a terrorist attack and Barry's response when asked about it is "...it's not optimal." :bash

But it wasn't Romney who marginalized the deaths of 4 Americans.
It was the President and he yucked it up on the Daily Show.
(I am still trying to figure out how any of our Presidents reduced themselves to the likes of the Daily Show and Letterman)
