I will not make a single post until 2013. But if he wins, LJ / D4S can't make a post until 2013. How confident are you LJ... willing to put up or shut up? You seem pretty confident so this should be a pretty easy decision and you get the satisfaction of shutting up a conservative for a couple months.

And if she doesn't have enough confidence... how about you raees, archer, dog ? I'd much rather take on the head of the snake though.

The point is who is confident enough in their guy to be willing to risk censoring themselves for months. Who can walk the walk instead of just talking the talk and cutting and pasting? I won't take the bet because I think Barack will win.

Well, for less than two months Fred, but it's a two-sided bet. Heisey is not that bad and I'm against shutting anyone up. I'm not surprised a conservative came up with this lame brain idea.

Want to double down Heisenberg? If Romney and Ryan don't get elected I'll stop posting from election day +1 to the 1st of January 2013. Frankly if the Republicans down win big on 6 November then it's proof that Americans are collectively too stupid to see Obama and his administration for what they are, Socialists.

I'll tell you what, because I was thinking of this anyway: if Obama wins I'll stop posting until the new year because you rabid right wingers are going to be working yourself into a tizzy and frankly, I'd rather not be a part of it. In fact, if Obama wins, I fully expect several of your heads to explode.

Bets and self-bans are popular on other forums. Sometimes it even does the loser good. They can spend time with the family or learn a new language.

No, I just want make a little bet... but I don't sense much confidence on your side. Lots of talk about how well it's looking for Obama but nobody ever willing to stick their neck out and make a solid prediction with consequences. We can't bet mmoney so I thought it would be fun to make a bet of silence. It's really not about limiting free speech, it was more about seeing what this place would look like after 7 weeks of LJ silence. But she is a coward and would never risk it... she thrives on hatred.

Very true, they can also come back a better person. I just don't see anyone here ever making a prediction of any kind for fear of being proven wrong. If you think about it, all we ever do around here is argue with other people's opinions, predictions , and "facts"(most of us anyway). Not sure why it's so hard to put your "Rmoney" where your mouth is around here.
