Coal about to take a bit hit.

I did Google a good bit of the text quoted and came up with many sources, any of which could have presented a different slant than the OP intended, which was why I politely asked for a link instead of finding and quoting one that I thought was meant but could have been very wrong on.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Something the Dog Said wrote: which of course is untrue. Xcel phased out two old, outdated coal powered facilities to replace their capacity with higher efficiency cheaper natural gas.

And anybody that has ever played Sim City knows what a great idea that is

One big difference? Coal prices are much more stable, natural gas is all over the place. Easier for consumers to plan their heating budgets.
If Obama wins, expect him to go after natural gas next? One of his Hollywood supporters Matt Damon is about to release a anti-fracking movie. And I just read a anti-natural gas editorial in the Post yesterday, says in the long term, LNG is worse for the enviroment than coal.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
