"Obama Won, So I Fired 22 Employees"

“I explained to them a month ago that if Obama gets in office that the regulations for Obamacare are gonna hurt our business, and I’m gonna have to make provisions to make sure I have enough money to cover the payroll taxes, the additional health care I’m gonna have to do, and I explained that to them and I said you do what you feel like in your heart you need to do, but I’m just letting you know as a warning this is things I have to think of as a business owner."

This is creating jobs? How many other small and medium business owners have/will make similar decisions?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

But I guess Obama is at fault because he WON the election, and some right-wing moron fired some people to make his point that he was unhappy with the election outcome?

Got it...

I get it, Americans are collectively too stupid to see what is happening to our nation. Barry and Team Obama are driving the train and it's headed down the track straight to hell. Have a good laugh now and mark well the day that Barry got re-elected. When there are no more wage earners to pay taxes and the Gubment can't continue to pay out the entitlements maybe the lame and lazy will get off their asses and revolt.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

No, Obama is at fault because of the crap he passed during his last term.

That employer made a business decision. The chances of obamacare being repealed are now nil. He's got to decrease his labor costs to allow for the additional benefits he's got to buy for the remaining employees.

I can't believe anyone's head is far enough up their ass to not see that requiring employers to spend more per employee is going to result in fewer employees.

Yes, I'm sure you are right, that it was strictly a "business decision"... Uh-huh... You would have proof of that, other than it's a petulent, mean-spirited TeaHadist.

Isn't it funny, how the other guy who threatened to fire a bunch of folks decided instead to give them all 5% raises, and stop being a horses-ass...

Since the whole canard of it "costing more" has been thrown out the window by the HHS and the employer tax-breaks, and insurance pools, we already KNOW what's really behind it.

Put yourself in the business owner's place, it's not easy to lay people off. Having to say the words to each employee in person, one on one is never easy. I can't imagine how a business owner dodges the "I voted for Obama" issue but the fact is that the increased cost of doing business is going up and profit margins are going down. There are reasons for small and medium businesses to stop hiring and not create new jobs, it costs too much to comply with the ACA and other laws that are headed our way in 2013.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Thrown out the window? Really? You bought into that crap? What happens when the government decides it can't afford the tax breaks? What happens when the insurance pools turn into quagmires like all government entities tend to do?

I might agree with you that some of Obamacare would be good, if the government could administrate their way out of wet paper bag without wasting piles of money while they do it.

Sometime you should stop spouting talking-points and find out how little you know about it.
