It's really sad that some here hate their country and it's military so much. Hopefully there are enough patriots here to shame those who want to leave our great country.

Troops that have been denied their right to vote.
My father was a decorated WW II medic. (Bronze Star) My brother served in Vietnam. My son is a decorated Iraq war veteran. Our circle of friends includes hundreds of Marines and their families.
The very VFW in Conifer that many of your neighbors attend once a month is named for my Godson.

If the shoe fits. I call someone who denigrates our great country by advocating for the secession from it to be a traitor, certainly not a patriot. What would your father, brother and son think of you wanting to leave our great country behind, to abandon the great heritage that they fought so hard for?

I can match your military heritage. No I did not serve, nor did you. But my father trained as a paratrooper in WWII (underage), served in combat during the Korean conflict, served in Vietnam, and retired out as a major in the US Army. I had one uncle killed in Italy during WWII, another captured as a POW in Japan in WWII. I have a nephew serving in the USAF in Afghanistan as we speak.

No, I will not back down. Those advocating leaving the US are traitors to our country, it's military and it's proud heritage. Those in the military dying and fighting for our country are seeking to keep our country together, not dividing it. That you would leave our great country behind because you disagree with a popularly elected president tells more about you.

For those who find their hatred of over half the citizens of this great country out weighs their love of country....hey go ahead and leave....you will be happier somewhere else, and this country will be better without you. We need people who love this country and are willing to work for it, not people who constantly complain and whine about not getting their way.

there is a word for those like archer and others who support and love their country, patriots.
