Could you take a few minutes and describe the process of the lands shifting possession. All maps of the world over time look like that. The land you live on was taken by force without fair compensation. How do you deal with that given your concerns about land shifting ownership halfway around the world - that was likely taken with even less force than the land you sleep on every night.

Is it just that we killed enough of the Native Americans that you don't have to hear them complain and thus don't have the same sympathy? Could you post a maps of the areas around 285 for the last 200 years to help in the perspective you are "offering". Local kids might not understand that they too live on land taken from others, they might think that we are better than someone else.

Can you give us a little perspective into why the green has been reduced since 1946? I don't think in this case that a picture is worth a thousand words, but I would be interested in your analysis of why this happened.

Raes, are you ready to give back Colorado to Mexico too? Or to the Utes?

The Palestinians will keep losing space as long as hamas is allowed to shower the Jews with bombs. If Mexico was doing this to the US, it would (and should) feel the wrath of our military. Hamas is a bunch of cowards who set up rocket launchers in school yards... if the palestinians think their lives were difficult before, they are about to see how Hamas will make them much much more difficult.

Re 1948, the Palestinians wanted all the land and still do. But this is most wars.

One side: You have what I want.
Another side: You may want it, but I want to keep it.
Another side: We don't want either one of you, but we'll support one of you over the other.

With the current birth rate, Hamas and the Palestinians are just being stupid. If they just remained peaceful for a couple decades and made the West Bank & Gaza Strip a tourist destination, Christians would come in droves from all over the world to spend money, build hotels, etc. Meanwhile the Israeli birthrate is declining and people continue to emigrate until eventually the new built Israeli housing will stand empty, ready to be reclaimed by the Arabs.
Instead they target Israel, exposing their citizens to bombardment and air strikes. The Twitter feed from IDF this morning admitted that most of the rockets being launched lately are based in population centers so that Hamas is willing to use dead Palestinians civvies as propaganda.

"Hey Honey! Lets go to Gaza with the kids for spring break!" Nope, don't see that ever happening. Theres millions of miles of better beaches in the world that don't stink like Hamas.

A lot of Christian biblical locations are in Palestinian lands like Bethlehem. And Jerusalem is also a holy site for Islamic pilgrims. Prolonged peace could bring Muslim visitors from all over the world.

Bethlehem is about 5 miles south of Jerusalem. They're both in present day Israel.

I'm surprised someone has opened a "manger" hotel where you can sleep in your very own manger with straw for bedding, surrounded by farm animals.

Then I must have old info, because l saw a report that called it Arab controlled Bethlehem. Might have been the peaceful Arabs that live in Israel.
