Two interesting new studies have come out during this election season, which might have liberals and conservatives at odds more than ever.
Last year, a study done at Brock University suggested that a lower I.Q. goes hand in hand with both racism and conservative beliefs. The findings are published in Psychological Science and the study is entitled “Bright Minds and Dark Attitudes: Lower Cognitive Ability Predicts Greater Prejudice Through Right-Wing Ideology and Low Intergroup Contact.”

Not at all, conservatives will figure it out too, it will just take them longer,FredHayek wrote: Amazing, liberals determine that liberals are smarter. Don't think that is skewed?

Not sure how scientific studies of a microscopic percentage of one group can somehow be accurate for the whole. I was making a point about past broad brush generalizations that were very wrong and how people today still do the same thing, like yourself. It must be so nice to sit on your high tower of wisdom and look down on the ignorant masses you disagree with. Can you tell me the ideology of the scientists who set up these studies? Just like journalists who are supposed to be fair and are suppose to look for and report the truth, scientists are people too with their own agendas. I really can't imagine a flaming liberal scientist coming to a conclusion that conservatives are smarter no matter what evidence he was to find. That's just the way people are... everyone thinks they know more than the other guy and some how to take that extra racist-like step and try to prove it. How about we just assume that people are individuals and not somehow part of some collective brain. You, nor any scientist out there knows what I've learned in my life or what I'm capable of achieving. But you keep painting if it helps to make you feel superior (I'm sure you need it).Raees wrote: Not sure how you equate that (being less human) with two scientific studies.
