It does get repetitious at times

In the 1960's for every dollar a tax payer paid, corporations paid $1.50
While today for every dollar a tax payer paid, corporations paid .25 cents.

Is that really true Mr. Big Doug? Where is your source? LJ and Archer will want to read it.
I, of course, will take the high road and not call you a liar or phony, however I do believe your tax information is incorrect. You can thank me for the correction later.

In the 1960s Evil Corporations paid around 23% of total Federal tax revenues.

I'm curious, why do you think that?

I would humbly suggest, as I did privately to another member recently at another site who mentioned the rudeness they were seeing on both forums up here, that the sites are what you make them - there is a vocal minority of a minority that will always be outspoken, harsh, and rude and if you don't want it that way, then become part of the majority that participates and doesn't act that way. The vast majority of our members are silent, or only infrequent visitors and the forum will not change if the same minority are the only ones posting all the time. Please be aware, I am not speaking to you directly or personally frogger, rather my advice to everyone is to be proactive, rather than reactive and judgmental. If you want the site to be better, start with yourself and make it better with your posts. Be active, ignore those who are insensitive, speaking at you rather than with you, or trolling for reactions. Don't take their comments personally because they aren't credible judges of who you are, and have fun! It really is that simple, or else, I would've given up and sold this business 6 times over by now.

I think SC has it correct, you can be part of the problem, or try to make it better, or just remain a disgusted lurker. It is only as good as the posters make it. Any site on the web is that way.
