I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Only if we have another amendment that changes it, nothing else really matters.

The policies put in place are not enforceable unless they comply.

Stop Supporting Gun Makers

Emanuel is pushing two major financial institutions to stop their financial backing of gun makers, unless those companies support “commonsense reforms, including requiring criminal background checks on all gun sales.”

I just sit and wait for the next outrageous abuse of power.

Back to the subject matter of my post.
Is it appropriate for government to put pressure on independent financial institutions to help push their agendas?

He's not telling them they can't...He is "putting pressure" on them, i.e., asking them not to. Sounds like a business decision to me. But when you think "they're coming for your guns" all the time, I guess anything looks like a "government abuse of power."

Perhaps a Xanax, or a Valium would help?

Oh, please do... If every time someone points out the fallacy of your "outrage-of-the-day" it's a "personal insult", you go back to your safe little echo-chamber...

The first part of your post was legit.

Perhaps a Xanax, or a Valium would help?

This was a personal insult. Shame that you can no longer tell the difference.
Interesting.

It was sarcasm... Deal with it.

Yes, it is interesting... You think if you yell "personal insult" after every post, it's going to make a difference? I think you do need to go back to that sheltered echo-chamber... Where you'll be safe.
