"New sex education policy proposed for CPS"
Why the need to change it to appear something it was not?
In the link posted by Wicked above, there was NO reference in the headline OR the article in reference to teaching ANYONE to have sex. Period.

Sorry to keep you waiting Baby, I had things to go do and didn't know I'd be frustrating you, so sorry. I never leave a man frustrated if I can help it.
Hey, what do you think of when you read the headline, "Chicago public schools may start sex ed in kindergarten"? To me, sex education
is about our physical bodies and intercourse. Sexual awareness
is about preventing abuse - there's a big difference in the semantics, and while many people don't understand the subtle differences (you strike me as one of these who would notice details like that), I notice the choice of terms that an educated journalist should know better. If they used those terms, it's deliberate, and you know they are trying to stir up controversy to sensationalize. They could've easily titled it "Chicago public schools helping prevent childhood sexual abuse" but they didn't. If we disagree over the terminology, then that's fine, but that's how I interpret the term sex ed.

The "district's proposal follows "national sexuality education standards." is a quote from the district themselves. It is simply sex education, not teaching children to have sex. The headline, the article and the content was correct.

And putting the word "national" in front of it changes the meaning that I said I ascribe to sex ed?
