Texas Wants Their Gold Back

Germany thinks there may be some fraud going on. Debasing of the gold. Maybe Texas is concerned too.

And maybe they aren't. And maybe Germany isn't either...

My sources don't say anything about it... How about YOUR sources, Fred? :rofllol

So the US is suspected of "debasing" gold? Perhaps they are spinning it back into straw!

The U.S. no longer has any gold metal. Also the Fort Knox vaults are empty.

And of course, you have a source for that?

Do a little googling, LJ. No one has been admitted into the vaults to see the gold for decades. No audits of the supposed gold are allowed.
In 1949 the amount of gold held in Fort Knox was 701 million ounces of gold. This was 69.9% of all the gold in the world. The "official" amount that now remains is listed at 147.3 million ounces. (From 1949, that is a decline of 79%.). The last tour of the vaults was September 23, 1974 (six congressmen and one senator). And that was merely a tour, not an audit. There is not the slightest bit of evidence that there is a speck of gold dust at Fort Knox.

Y'know..I DID do a little Googling...and what I found says you're wrong.

So, either provide a source for your wild claims or I'll assume, as usual, that you are blowing smoke. (Oh, wait... This is more of the conspiracy-wackos??? Aliens came and sucked Ron Paul's brains out and stole the gold?)

All that you found was the claim of 147.3 million ounces of gold. You did not find evidence of any audit or accounting that would show that there is even one bag of gold dust or one troy ounce of metal.

LJ, quit bullsh***ing people.

Don't have a credible source, do you... So, put up or shut up.... (And when you're done with your personal insults, I WILL post a credible source that says you're lying...)

I do not know if you will take the time to read a book but here it is: "Good As Gold?': How We Lost Our Gold Reserves and Destroyed The Dollar" by Christopher Weber. That would be a start for you.

By the way, the only audit that has ever been done of the gold inside Ft Knox was done days after Dwight Eisenhower became President in January of 1953.
(Now, in true liberal fashion, attack the source and never give a credible source in return.)
