Those questions are already part of the application process for a visa in this country. So now you have to resort to broad brush generalizations that are total bullshit to justify your desire for discriminating solely on the basis of religion.

OK, lets bring in facts to the debate. How many Christian immigrant bombers have we had in the last 20 years? How many Islamic bombers from other countries have we let in under visas and legal immigrants? Underwear bomber? Times Square bomber? Boston Marathon bombers? Shoe bomber?

According to Wikipedia (source link below): Since 1993 (20 years ago), there have been about 43 (I was interrupted twice as I was counting so I may be off by one or two) what the government calls "terrorist" attacks on domestic U.S. soil.
Of these 43 attacks, 21 were by U.S. Citizens not with a "muslim jihad" reason.
11 were by Muslims.
2 were by U.S. Citizens with a "muslim jihad" reason.
9 were by unknown assailants and/or for unknown reasons.
10 of these attacks were bombings. 7 by Americans and 3 by Muslims.
Several of these attacks were aimed at abortion doctors or abortion clinics.
Neither the underwear, Times Square, or shoe bomber were included in this list, because these attacks were not completed.
With the logic being presented we should ban immigration for anyone from any country, religion, belief or lifestyle that does not jive with the USA.
Sounds like some are advocating to lock the doors and throw away the key (unless you are a white Christian).
