The Facts Are In and Paul Ryan Is Wrong

FredHayek wrote: Um, the rich 1% have been gaining under Obama's watch. The GOP may be accused of benefiting the rich but Obama watching over stagnant wages, loss of the wealth of the middle and lower class, and a record number on food stamps and disability, and less adults working than since 1979. Maybe someday the American people will realize that Obama is all talk and no do.

When the obstructionists in the Congress are the reason that is still occurring, the constant refrain that it's "Obama's fault" doesn't work. That dog won't hunt. But I admire the fact that you keep spouting it. The American people already realize who is causing the problems, and which party is responsible. And I believe they will continue to pay a price at the polls... Not only in the Congress, but in the states and the governorships, and state legislatures.

Yes it does. A strong president who knew how to get things done would. Reagan worked with Congress. Bill Clinton worked with Congress, you think Newt Gingrich is a tougher Speaker than crybaby Boehner? Obama cares much more about talking points than getting things done. OR do you think Clinton was a wimp for compromising with the Republican Congress? Face it, your guy is an empty shell.

No, it doesn't... It works for you because you are the one regurgitating it over and over again...Unfortunately, for the Right, it DOESN'T work with the majority of the American people who see the GOP obstructionism and do-nothing/oppose-Obama-at-any-costs strategy as hurting the entire population and economy... I repeat, I jus' want you guys to keep doin' what yer doin'...

Jeez, they spend $10 million to find out what they already knew:

The nearly 100-page analysis—compiled in the past several months by five veteran GOP campaign advisers—describes the party as ideologically rigid, still clinging to the days of Ronald Reagan, party of the 'rich', unable to speak to a wider electorate and increasingly viewed by voters as indifferent to the struggles of average people.

In focus groups, voters who had left the Republican Party said they found the GOP to be "scary," "narrow-minded," "out of touch" and the party of "stuffy old men."

And then after spending $10 million to get that information, they find out that they are losing by ever-widening numbers with women (55%), Hispanics (71%), blacks (93%), Asians (73%), seniors (you lost them by 55+% in 40% of the states), LGBT (78%)...But hey, you got 59% of the "old, angry white guys"--which are disappearing...Congratulations. So, what do they do?...They keep doing dumb stuff like releasing Heritage Foundation reports with bogus numbers based on phony studies--by a guy that was forced to resign because he was pushing that white-supremacist Nazi-era language that "Hispanics are genetically pre-disposed to lower-IQ's"... Congratulations again. Yeah, fighting over immigration-reform and calling the whole race "lazy", "takers", and "stupid"...Yeah, THAT'll REALLY win 'em over...

And how'd that "Defense of Marriage" thing that Boehner spent $5-million of taxpayer money defending work out for ya?... It's about to be TWELVE (12) states with right-to-marry laws?! But you guys keep fighting it. That'll win 'em over...

And how's that let's-screw-the-seniors-on-Social-Security/chained-CPI thing working out for ya?... Yeah, now you have roughly 75-80% of seniors on Social Security ticked-off... (Oh, and the Ryan plan to hand 'em all "vouchers" for their Medicare was a stroke-of-genius!) Congratulations, THAT'll win 'em over...

And, hey, let's try to put banks back in the middle of the Federal Student Loan program... You'll try to double the cost of student loans, but hey, the banks can skim off an unnecessary profit for no reason other than to satisfy a Republican constituency!! Congratulations, THAT'll win 'em over...

And while you're at it, why not do everything possible to defeat the legislation that is supposed to protect consumers against the very scumbag practices that the too-big-to-fail banks did to cause the meltdown in the first place?!?! Yeah! That's it!! Congratulations, THAT'll win 'em over...

The RNC's postmortem of November's election losses, draws a contrast between the "inclusive and appealing" manner of the country's GOP governors and the party's "federal wing," whose message "is not working" beyond core Republican adherents.

Unless changes are made, the report states, "it will be increasingly difficult for Republicans to win another presidential election in the near future."

Wow... That's from the RNC's OWN REPORT!?!?!?! I repeat, I jus' want you guys to keep doin' what yer doin'...

And now he will be playing damage control with the IRS and Benghazi for the rest of his term.

OK, go ahead and keep ignoring the "Death March of the Dinosaurs" into the predictable oblivion for the GOTP... Running out of "outrages" to cover up the disaster that the GOTP has created for itself and try to divert attention? Still don't have anything but your hatred for Obama?

Too bad, so sad....

I don't hate Obama. He is way too ineffective to lose any sleep over.

Yeah, that's why you keep posting message after message... If he's "so ineffective to lose any sleep over", maybe we can all get a rest from all of your vitriolic posts against him...

It doesn't change the fact that "The Facts Are In and Paul Ryan Is Wrong"

If the Republican party is dead and out of touch why do they control Congress and the agenda in DC? Your article is just wishful thinking.

My article is about FACTS...The FACTS are in--and Paul Ryan is Wrong...

Nope...Still hasn't changed...

The Dems got more total votes for the House...But because of gerrymandering, they still didn't get a majority... That was last time... The numbers still don't lie...After spending $10 million to get that information, they find out that they are losing by ever-widening numbers with women (55%), Hispanics (71%), blacks (93%), Asians (73%), seniors (you lost them by 55+% in 40% of the states), LGBT (78%)...But hey, you got 59% of the "old, angry white guys"--which are disappearing...Congratulations.

And the more the old, angry white guys die off, the harder it is going to be to hold on to the gerrymandered districts...

I'll just bide my time, and keep working....
