Actual Tactics? The Republicans need to do a better job marketing their candidates to the fair weather voters. I think in 2012 they let the lefty press and Dems define Mitt. Plus Romney didn't push against Barack hard enough. He really needed to push the incompetence and out of touch chief executive to get out the low interest voters.
Hispanic voters? I don't think they care about amnesty as much as Dems think they do. The GOP needs to do a better job attracting Hispanic voters, Cruz, Rubio, or Jeb Bush might help with that. "W" did much better with the Hispanic vote than McCain or Romney

Mitt got defined EXACTLY as what he is--an out-of-touch elitist vulture-capitalist that destroyed and off-shored (or is it out-sourced?...I can never remember) as many jobs as he allegedly created. He was more interested in sheltering his own money off-shore and avoiding taxes as he was doing anything else. It SHOWED...and he had no defense for the TRUTH... FACTS are persistent things.
And I'm still grateful for lines like "self-deportation", and "47%".... And I expect the GOTP to go even further to the Right next time. Because they do the same thing every time: "Well, we lost because we didn't go far enough to the Right...We weren't conservative enough."
And the GOTP is still wallowing in that "47%" rhetoric and hatred of the poor and minorities, and it's going to get crammed down their throats over and over again.
So, yes, PLEASE go after the "old, angry WHITE guys", and ignore the Latinos..........PLEASE, jus' keep doin' what yer doin' ....
