Out of the Mouths of Conservatives

And in our continuing story of "Dumb things conservatives say":

Rick Perry: 'Religious Freedom Does Not Mean Freedom From Religion' (VIDEO)

During the signing of Texas' "Merry Christmas Bill" on Thursday, Gov. Rick Perry (R) made a rather shocking claim.

"Religious freedom does not mean freedom from religion," Perry declared at the State Capitol building in Austin before signing HB 308, which allows public schools to display scenes and symbols of "traditional winter holidays."

Uh, actually, Rick, it DOES mean "freedom from religion"... The 'persecuted Christian" meme is more than tiresome, and numerous court cases have determined that Christians do NOT get to cram their particular brand of superstition down everyone else's throats...

Maybe if they broadened their sources, they wouldn't get embarrased so often. Yet another conservative lie by Freddy. You just can't help yourself can you? Don't have any facts so just lie about it. Don't have any documentation because it is a lie so just refuse to provide links. So Freddy, how often if ever have I posted something from the Huffington Post (must back it up or you are simply lying again).

I don't even mention who is using what source but you mistakenly infer I am talking about you using the unpaid cretinism from HuffPo. At least Mother Jones pays their ultra-lefty staff.

So you have no factual basis for your lies about my sources. Yet again, a Freddy lie.

No, see, so-called "unpaid cretins" (which is your stock, but totally b.s. phrase) applies only to editorial and opinion pieces, which I always label as such. That makes it, as usual, a lie.

All of the articles I've posted are SOURCED--(a concept with which you are totally unfamiliar)--, frequently include videos of the actual crap the dumb 'baggers are saying. So feel free to continue with your phony denials but, dang...Facts are a 'b*itch, aren't they?

I'm so glad you guys started the thread on "Dumb Things..." It's such an incredibly target-rich environment for the neo-wackos.
