You can now charge them while parking at DIA. Of course it will cost you $23/day to park, but you can charge your car for "free" :-)

DIA installs electric-vehicle charging stations
DENVER - Customers who park their plug-in electric vehicles in the east and west parking garages at Denver International Airport will soon be able to charge up at one of 10 new electric vehiclecharging stations.

The charging stations, which are scheduled to be installed this fall, will be free to customers who pay to park in the garages. The chargers are compatible with most electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, including popular models such as the Chevy Volt, the Nissan Leaf and the plug-in version of the Toyota Prius.

So the electric cars get charging stations in the expensive short term parking...

What do they give us who park in the long term "economy" parking? Free break-in service and extra exercise trying to find your car?

Well, at least it looks like the Tesla did also have one of the best ever crash test results.

The only bug left to fix is to stop electrocuting the people trying to test it. lol

:yeahthat:

It's a rare event when the car breaks the crash test rig! My problem with most of these "green" cars is the cost and the faux green-ness. Lead-acid batteries, Nickle, and Lithium based batteries are not environmentally friendly and the damage that the manufacture and disposal of them costs more and does more damage to the environment than what it takes to build the first version of a Hummer one for one.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

If you're in the long-term lot and your battery dies, they will jump you for free :-)

This Summer, You No Longer Need to Be Rich to Drive a Tesla
By Adario Strange

The new business leasing option was announced on Tesla's website Tuesday.

"Leasing a Model S takes 5 mins online, no signatures [and] one tap on car center screen to accept when delivered," Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk tweeted, following the announcement.

An entry-level Model S costs $469 a month to lease with upfront costs ranging from $3,500 to $6,000, depending on which state you live in. (California and Colorado offer incentives.)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

One of our sales guys at work has a Tesla so the company actually built him a charging station so he plugs in during the day. Should the other employees get free gas cards or bus passes?

There is a Beau Jo's in Denver that has a couple charging stations near the door for the electric people.
