No more Obama Bush War!

This is a police action. We have failed at our 4 major international police actions in the last 60 years. We have ruined our military and our national spirit with these actions.

We are also getting worse and worse at domestic policing. With the police getting more power and a worse reputation. We lock up 1% of our people and 5% of people in their 20s. Despite this, we don't hear about other countries coming in to do something about our obsession with locking peaceful people, especially kids, in boxes for extended periods of time.

We need to chill out and just accept, like most of the rest of the world, that we are not the world police and when we try to be, we generally fail and make our own nation worse, end up punishing our own people. I think that people that interact with a lot of Iraq, Afg vets see the damage. Literally 100,000s of mentally ill people with 50-100 years of life left as just a small part of the price of our last international police obsession.

Pretty simple. This is not a moral issue, it is a capacity issue. We don't have the capacity to deal with this. We certainly don't have the capacity to deal with another nation of young people that will hate us forever. We have just about dismantled our national morals to address the last one or two. As a result of Iraq and Afghanistan, freedom on many levels is now optional and it ain't your option. We don't need more of this BS.

We are also pretending like we are getting real information, which history has shown, we almost definitely are not.

Perhaps we take whatever money we don't have that may be allocated to this and use it to fix our legal and prison systems and our obsession with using them for everything in everyone's lives. Oh wait, we don't have the money either way.

Anyone ever drive a Lexus? Pretty nice car. Pretty irrelevant if you make $15k a year. This next war is the Lexus and we only make $15k.

I say if we are going to do this, lets do it right and come up with a plan, come up with the cost and do in immediate and direct tax to pay for it so we feel it right away. This way people will be able to make better decisions with real impact on their lives. If we go over budget, we do another and immediate tax to pay for it, in fact as many as it needs. As long as we talk about this and plan on paying for it in the future, it might as well be a movie script, because no one will really care, but surely our future generations will suffer in proportion to this generations lack of caring...about both money and livelihood.

Is the Obama administration now backing away from war? Kerry is saying they don't know who issued the orders to gas that town.
It just seems crazy that we are still sending drones against Al Quaida forces in Pakistan but supplying AG in Syria with weapons and air support. Confusing.

The bolded I would disagree with....it is BOTH....however, we (collectively) ALLOWED it to
occur approx. 10 times in the PAST (last two years or so) and did NOTHING.....(per Christiane
Armoupour ) the rest of the globe (along with the US) is required to stand up and MORALLY
do the right thing.....America can not do it alone......JMO

You are morally supposed to stop all bad things. There are many bad things happening closer to you and all of us we can stop. This is just more marketing. This has more to do with CNN, Fox ad revenues than morals. Our govt does not consider this a moral thing, this is a power and money thing for them too in the end. If lives were respected, we would not immorally do something that could get us invaded, lock up so many of our own. If you are suffering from a moral issue, why not address how many of our kids are locked up for no reason? Most Americans could care less about this, because right now, there is little news ad revenue to be made on it. If there is news ad revenue to be made, Americans will care.

So to talk about this like it has to do with morals, or our collective actions like they have to do with morals, is well, just kinda cute.

Again, we are over capacity, at that point, the capacity issue is the biggest one. It effects our ability to be moral forever, not just this year. When you don't have the capacity, you get desperate and you make rash decisions, or base those decisions on the wrong things. Like the news who has the sole goal of selling ads.

The FIRST bolded......I believe Hitler would agree with you....but I am sure those Jewish
families that had their relatives GASSED TO DEATH would probably disagree with you.

The SECOND bolded you and I agree on this.....we,as a nation, can NOT be the savior of
the world....it takes capacity and that would come from MULTIPLE sources.....not a singular
source.....JMO
