Tea Party Is Racist, Evil, Should Die!

"This week, massive crowds of veterans descended onto Washington, D.C., to protest the Obama administration’s vindictive shutdown of open-air memorial sites — sites that require no guards but were fenced off simply to make Americans miserable as a bargaining chip in the government shutdown negotiations. Veterans, including many wheelchair-bound veterans from World War II, overturned the barricades placed at memorials by the administration and proceeded to carry them to the White House.

The media covered the men and women who attended the so-called Million Vet March by suggesting that they were racists and terrorists and hoping that politicians allied with them would die.

CNN previously described the rally this way: “At tea party-like rally, Obama told to ‘put the Quran down.’” The veterans were relegated to secondary status in the CNN report, and CNN snarkily remarked that the event “drew far fewer than a million people” — a comment CNN never made about the Million Man March or the Million Muslim March or the smaller-than-expected immigration rally last week. CNN then singled out "...

Dem friends on this board, aren't any of you worried about the press supporting your party so eagerly?
If our media is cheerleaders for Obama, what are they choosing to cover up? And are they also worried that if they do print anything critical of the POTUS, the IRS and other bureaucracies will "investigate" them? Like they have done to Fox reporters in the past.

But Fox is a minor player. Sure they have the ratings, but it is one media source against sixteen others.
Nationally it isn't as much of a problem because the alternative press usually will cover all sides, but locally is what I worry about. Biased reporting and even more as papers cut local reporters, who is watching mayors, city councils, and governors?
Detroit just had an ex-mayor go to jail for 30+ years, if the press had been watching would they have caught him sooner? Or he might have even stayed straight if he knew he was being watched.

The same media that has been carrying Obama's water for the last 5 years is now forced to admit how bad Obamacare is working out. But they still take an event like at the WWII memorial, pick out the one or two "extremists" and paint the entire event as some "Tea Party-like extremist event"... even though there have been only a very small minority in any Tea Party rally that could be seen as "extreme". They may have to admit being wrong on issues like the ACA, but they will never stop the dishonest reporting and painting conservatives as racist haters... even when the evidence has NEVER been present. Journalism is still dead.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I am enjoying the liberal media, (the NY Times), exposing the ACA rollout for the debacle it is.

BS Rick.....the media is a reflection of what the majority of the American people are thinking. If they weren't, people wouldn't watch.

Low-information conservative voters will get their information from Fox and they conservative blogs and low-information progressives and liberals will get their information from the other 16 media outlets and Huffington Post and The Daily Kos.

Those kind of voters on both sides are like drug addicts. They will find the information that satisfies their needs. You're not going to change that and they are not going to change their bad habits.

Maybe we need a LIVA - Low Information Voters Anonymous. Nah... forget it.

Ratings are an important part of the equation, but also the beliefs of the reporters and thier bosses determine which stories get air time and column space.

Why Superstorm Sandy got more coverage than the Colorado floods, it affected more people and more of the press was located in the tri-state area than Colorado.

BULLSH*T... You obviously didn't watch the media coverage BEFORE Obama was ever elected. And you obviously ignore the fact that the majority of Americans haven't liked the ACA from the beginning, yet the MSM media DID ignore that fact. They will now when it implodes and all the promises made are found to be complete BULLSH*T.
