You think that the Republicans losing on means testing is a good thing?

Or does your cut and paste approach to life not work in this case?

I saw that article too. The means testing/pricing is horribly complicated and has been the main reason the web site is bogged down requiring logins. Second reason was politically motivated delays of HHS regulations during the last election that slowed down the software developers/reqmts. They have been in denial that this whole exchange roll out was ready to go. Worse than a Windows Vista Beta.

Ehealthinsurance.com has a solid web site for shopping for insurance and it works fine. Since 1999. With no government funding! Wonder why they didn't get the contract to develop the HHS web site?

From the USA Today article-

"I will be the first to tell you that the website launch was rockier than we wanted it to be,'' HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Wednesday "

Sorry Kathleen, you are not actually the first. You are about 2 1/2 weeks late and about the "1 millionth". LOL

You have to love these Government leaders and their honest media statements. :)

So its a little rocky and has some glitches. No big deal, throw another billion into it and fix it!

And now Karen Sebilius is refusing to appear before Congress investigating this bureaucratic failure that is costing America hundreds of million dollars more than original estimates. (I predict the same cost overruns on the complete ACA program too.)

At Least 23 People In South Dakota Sign Up For Obamacare In First 2 Weeks

http://washington.cbslocal.com/2013/10/ ... t-2-weeks/

The economics behind the ACA is very much dependent on young, healthy adults signing up at large premiums to offset the cost for sickly old dudes like myself (actually my health is fine thank you).

You do the math.

You really don't even need math as long as you have a tiny bit of common sense.
