How many businesses have you run? How much red tape have you had to go through just to get product to customer? Have you had an opposing business call the Feds on you to increase their market share? More ignorance from a non business owner cherry picking cutting pasting.Big Dougy wrote:

I'm in a bad mood today... I had to find someone easy to pick on. That made me feel better.

"A five-year battle by Benedictine monks in Louisiana for the right to make and sell caskets is over, and the holy carpenters have won. The Supreme Court declined this week to get involved in the fight between St. Joseph Abbey and the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, letting stand a ruling that declared a state-enforced industry monopoly illegal.
The law in question required anybody who wanted to sell caskets to undergo funeral director training and set up embalming equipment, rules that have nothing to do with creating or selling fancy wooden boxes with which to store dead bodies, but everything to do with making sure the funeral industry controlled the marketplace."...
Is life just one big war to you? If "you" win 5000 of these little battles is your life going to change?

No one here would care about people being able to pick profession and proceed without govt permission?? What are you talking about.
The only dumb f***s that would not care about that are selfish retired folks that have nothing better to do than post pics of rotting fluid and beaches. These lazy f***s likely still cash their social security checks because they themselves could not hack it in life and needed all of our help to make it. Selfish people rarely care about others, they want things like more them them now at the expense of others elsewhere or in the future. They even think it is more important to insult someone who thinks people should be able to work than to fight for people to have the right to work. To them work likely comes from the govt, permitted by the govt designed by the collective.
What kind of American would be ok with needing a permit or license to build a box for someone's body to be thrown away in? What's next licensing doctors? Do you realize what that could do to the cost of health care, what the govt may eventually do in reaction to these artificially high costs, could you even imagine what an attitude like yours could do to the country and then the world, govts could go broke and people could suffer....
