Amendment 66: How Are You Going To Vote?

When the State passes a voucher law that puts the subsidy in the hands of, and in the control of, the parents I'll consider a State tax increase for schools, but not before. Let them find some other way to bail out PERA. "In the classroom" is far too openended, it can be interpreted anyway anyone wants to interpret it. Which, of course, is why that catchphrase was used. The voter will vote based on their interpretation of what that means, not necessarily what the State and the school districts interpret it to mean.

Anyone seen polling on this yet? The election isn't too far away.

The polling says if people were given a less infomative question about 66, 44% were against, 38% were for and 18% were undecided. If the pollster gave out more information in the question about 66, the numbers changed, 52% were now against, 38 were still for, and 10% were still undecided.

So it looks like Colorado doesn't like this new tax, but with a off year election, turnout is very key, so make sure and mail in your ballots.

One other point I would like to make, is Colorado swinging back to the center? In 2012, the Dems spent a lot of money here making sure the state went for Obama and trying to gain the senate and statehouse, but now Coloradoans are seeing the results of letting the Dems have too much power.

And I much enjoyed your thankful attitude for having me give you the link to this information. Oh wait... you didn't thank me, you just ran with the polling data like you had it all along.

Well... knock me over with a feather.
