Just to be clear, this IS going to happen even though it hasn't been announced yet. And revealing my source is not meant to mock anybody... I could call it my gut as well. It's just going to happen and you heard it here first.

I'd predict the open enrollment will get extended beyond March at the last minute. Delaying the mandate should require legislation from Congress, but that hasn't stop the Obama team so far from re-writing the laws as they please. The courts in the country are asleep starting with the Supremes. Viva Venezuela!

Yes enrollment delay is a given as well... and when it is delayed the tax must be delayed too.

And it didn't take legislation from congress to delay the mandate for businesses, why should an individual delay require a bigger hoop?

I predict that they will table all of this mess until after the 2014 election. Otherwise there will be too many pissed off people who would see the the Obama Administration for what it is.

Kick that can down the road.

And the announcment will be made late on a Friday after all the reporters have gone home for the day.
November?
December?
Holiday season so even less reporters are at work? And the pundits will be on Christmas break.

Sen. Manchin (D-WV) is working on a bill to delay the individual mandate.

Healthcare.gov, the only website with more coders than enrolled patients.
