There is even diversity in life, and noble strength to be found, in the struggles to survive in the sewer Mr. Big Dougy. Not everyone who is there wishes to be there, or deserves to be there. They do deserve our compassion and help and willingness to listen, if they wish to improve themselves and make an effort to do so.Big Dougy wrote:

I was talking with a fellow MMT poster yesterday about the very thing that VL pointed out..... it's nothing but a sounding board with people who agree with the links found on right wing sites. There is nothing actually discussed that is not purely RW ideological bs. IF there was more than pure selfish/ideological back slapping going on and real issues that are really important discussed there actually might be engagement with those beyond the far right politically on this board.... but this is what they want, nothing from beyond right of center discussed less they be belittled and badgered. Hell, LJ at least brings some links behind her points. All you have here now is people trying to punish and shout-out everyone that is outside their ideological scope of what they support, and the groupthink hate of man who happens to be president yet not of their kind.
Carry on with your vitriolic hatefest!

FredHayek wrote: Netdude, I really can't believe you pulled out the race card. You think Republicans disliked Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and Hillary any less? Sure there are probably some Republican and Democrat voters who didn't vote for Obama because of his race, but if you look at the actual numbers, Obama got more votes from Americans than Clinton. Hardly the actions of a racist nation.

When the going gets tough for the left... they pull out the race card. There is certainly, beyond a shadow of a doubt, something wrong with the ACA roll out and the impact it will have on the country.
