predict the trajectory (I LOVE that word,it's my word for 2013).....of this travesty?.....Will
our government MEET the milestones? IF NOT.....what will YOUR version of the first trimester
look like?....will Q2 be a quandary or a "quiet" non-event.

Care to elaborate? I'm not sure what you are talking about other than debt ceiling negotiations.

My expectations are so low, whatever clusterfk snafu that happens will probably exceed the low bar I have envisioned.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

My thoughts exactly. We observe government failures on a daily basis with zero consequences or accountability. It would be comical if we didn't have to all pay the bill.

JMO....I believe, THIS time it will be different....the ramifications of their action will have
"caught up" with them.....I'm thinking something like another "lehman Bros." moment, Unintended
consequences abound.....besides, the DOW is hitting "irrational exuberance."....to quote Bennie.

You could be right, the boy who cried wolf too many times? Everyone seems numb to these repeating self-imposed crisis deadlines, but there is always a possibility the stupid do something really stupid triggering chaos.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

After the bad press last time, the R's will just pass the debt ceiling hike with no arguments. They will hang their hats on the more popular fight- Obamacare. Sequestration is the only thing that I don't have a feel for how it will go. It's the only reason the deficit is slightly better, but will it sell?

I think you're right, even though the gov't shutdown didn't cause panic or concern to 99% of the population.
