Of course this is just weather. If it wasn't for that damn ocean stealing all our warming and hiding it underwater and that damn polar vortex........... :Smileorange: :BeerSalute

Buffalo already has 20% above average snowfall and February isn't over.

The Northeast may be having an historic cold /snowy winter. Here in AZ we are having an historic warm and dry winter, we are averaging 10 degrees above normal. So which one is indicative of what our climate is doing, neither one. But that doesn't stop some from claiming that a cold day is enough to disprove the warming of our climate.

I grew up on the shores of Lake Erie, it routinely froze over when I was a kid, now it is a rare event. But that too is weather, not climate.

Oh, we're you serious that you understood that this was just weather, it sounded more like sarcasm. Sorry, I'm glad you realize that this particular winter has nothing to do with climate change. Kudos.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

None of us are remarking on climate. We are just noting the unusual weather around the nation. The lady does presume too much.

Philly has has at least four storms this year over four inches deep. A new record for the city of brotherly love and Spring is still weeks away.
