Putin and the American Conservatives.

So after seeing very limited Putin approval or admiration from conservatives as a whole, wouldn't a more honest title be something like "Putin and a Few American Conservatives" ? The title screams of a broad brush accusation whether it was intended or not.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Archer always claims shes not painting with a broad brush and then goes goes right on and does it. Her statement "no claim was ever made about all conservatives" boarders on absurd when she titled the thread (or used someones title) like "Putin and the American Conservatives."

I'm an American conservative, and I'm a social liberal, so titles like that, and her bigoted lumping of all of us together is deceptive and dishonest.

C'mon Rick. It's the same format as when Balzer Bob starts a thread of "How Liberals see Conservatives" or "Things Liberals Say". Don't play dumb, it doesn't suit you.

Broad brushes are all too common around here and it is easier to comment against those than to actually address specifics like: "what exaclty should the US do (or not do) about the Ukraine situation?" or "why are we so concerned about this?" or "What the f**k are the Europeans actually doing about this?" All 3 questions seem to have gone mostly unanswered on a number of threads.

Some people would rather rail against the single opinion of a poster here in order to avoid a discussion on the greater picture.

What's the point in trying anymore? it all comes back to this. :banghead: :Hammer: :letsfight:

Is protecting one of its few warm water naval bases a justifiable reason in your opinion?

Let me make a suggestion RR, since you seem to hate me and anything I post so much, just put me on ignore....I have tried to answer your questions, and you move the goal posts till the question is no longer relevant, and any answer is viciously attacked. I literally am sick to death of you and your attitude. Count me out, I post nothing worse than everyone of your cohorts here has done, over and over again....yet you seem to think that persecuting me is a sport worthy of your precious time, well I'm done with your juvenile games, go get a life.

As a poster, you are dead to me.....and not worth one more nanosecond of my time.

That base does not extend over the whole Crimean peninsula. The Ukraine and Russia have peaceful agreements for the maintaining of that base and have had for years.. The Kyiv seat of government made no attempt to deny Russia access to that base or isolate the Russian personal and ships that were at the base. And no resolution, suggestions, comment or action came out of Kyiv's parliament that would lead anyone to believe that the base was in jeopardy.

The answer to your question is NO.

Why don't you tell what happened in regards to that naval base that made this invasion justifiable?

I don't hate you or what you post, but I'm not going to sit back idly and have you make blanket statements that you can't back up with facts. And it's not my problem, nor do I feel sorry for you because you can't form a debate worthy of your statements.

In other words. You lost.

Well at first glance at Bob's threads that may appear to be the case, but if you really think about it, it's quite different. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of those are blogs and articles which express someone else's opinions, not Bob's. He may agree or disagree with some of them but I also see quite a bit of humor embedded in them.

Archer on the other hand is expressing her opinion, her view. I see nothing wrong with challenging another member's view... unlike Bob's threads where we can't debate the author about his ideology or his point. Now if Bob comes out and says "this is what I believe too!", then you have a better point.

You could rename this thread "archer and the Broad brushes". LOL No hard feelings archer, we all fall for that at times. Putin and Obama are really the same. One uses the Military to intimidate and scare. The other uses mandates, admin regs, IRS, NSA, Homeland security, FBI. No difference really, same outcome, just different government branches. The sheeple are too busy watching the latest tweets and hollywood celeb nonsense to see it. Enjoy!

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
