Senate Climate Change Talkathon!

:LMAO: Looks like Senate Democrats feel they aren't getting enough air time after seeing the fake filibuster of Sen. Cruz, they have decided to make eight hours of speeches in the middle of the night on the Senate floor persuading Americans to realize climate change is real.
Think it is very smart to let the octogenarians in the chamber not only stay up past their bed times but then be taped talking for hours on end? The gaffes should be quite funny.

The real question is, who on this planet would be interested enough to watch and listen to that worthless rambling? Even if actual climate scientists with credibility were making these speeches, it would still be a snooze fest.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

That's quote the fortitude you've got RR.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

They invited the Flat-Earth Society to come, but to no one's surprise they couldn't be interrupted from their lectures on how to turn lead-into-gold, and creationism.

:sarcasm: Is it safe to release that much hot air in one place over a short period of time? I suppose the damage is already done, Capital Hill has to be the main source of hot air in the entire nation.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

I don't know...There's been a bubble of it hanging over the House of Representatives for 5 years, and all it's done is increase the amount of "free-floating stupid" in the Teabagger Caucus.

Sounds counter-productive to me. To really prevent greenhouses gases, they should have just turned out the lights and went home.
If I get insomnia later tonight, I will tune in. Hope I fall asleep before Al Franken, his voice gives me a tummy ache.
