"The Washington Post is reporting that Republicans offered to move Democratic state Sen. Phillip P. Puckett and his daughter into prestigious jobs in exchange for Puckett's resignation, which will flip the chamber into Republican hands. Pucket will officially accept the offer on Monday, the paper reported."
Moral question: what is worse, offering a bribe or accepting one? It's one thing to make an offer that isn't ethical but it's another thing to accept an unethical offer, dismiss your own personal standards, and chase personal gain and profit in the hope of bettering yourself under false pretenses.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Slimeball Democrats easily bought. Like all those speaking fees that Hilary gets.
Think she isn't going to remember which corporations paid the bills when she was out of work?

Yeah, the same way that all of the slimeball teabaggers get speaking-fees (and dark-money from the Koch brothers' empire).
Gee, wasn't it a $10,000/plate dinner where Gov Mitt-Flop RMoney was recorded giving his famous "47%" speech that brought his whole campaign down in flames?

The key difference? The Republicans are the party of big business, the Dems are supposed to represent the little guy, so why has Wall Street given more money to HillaryPAC's than Christie?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
So that explains why the Koch Bros and all of their shell companies and organizations like the Crossroads/GPS, Club-For-Growth, astro-turf teabagger movements give more to the TeaPublicans than Hillary and the Dems will ever see.
You forgot to include Harry Reid's buddy, Adelson, who is a good guy, unlike those Koch boys because he buys politcians on both sides of the aisle. Equal opportunity pay-to-play.

I didn't forget... If you want to drop the name of a fringe billionaire who dropped $20 MILLION on Newt Gingrich, I'm more than happy for you to do so..
