Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, twitted:

@RepDanCrenshaw
Madam Speaker, welcome to the true nature of identity politics - where you’re accused of being racist for no reason at all, and where intellectually lazy insults are used against you as a way to replace substantive debate of your argument or idea. Invalid consumer key/secret in configuration

Crenshaw, for those who are unfamiliar with him:
Crenshaw graduated from Tufts University in 2006.[8] He earned a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government in 2018[9] and worked as a military legislative assistant for Congressman Pete Sessions.[8][10]

While at Tufts, he joined the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps and was commissioned in the U.S. Navy after his graduation.[11] He served in the Navy SEALs for ten years, including three tours of duty, reaching the rank of lieutenant commander.[9] Crenshaw was a member of SEAL Team Three;[12] and was based out of Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in Coronado, California.[13]

While serving in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan in 2012, he was injured by the detonation of an improvised explosive device; he lost his right eye and required surgery to save the vision in his left eye.[14] After the injury, he was deployed to Bahrain and South Korea.[14] As a Navy SEAL, he earned two Bronze Star Medals, the Purple Heart, and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with valor. He medically retired from military service in 2016.[14]

I view PELOSI and AOC as a generational gap of governing......Pelosi has the deep background and perhaps wisdom of age.....AOC has bold and brash ideas (the imagery that comes to mind is a young colt romping thru range grass and a mare quietly grazing the landscape) wisdom of age
vs. brilliant but unbridled (and unproven) ideas.....nature of change and evolving.

I see AOC more as a Jesse Jackson, a bomb thrower more than a serious politician. She will feather a cozy nest for herself in her district, continue to spout off, and will achieve nothing.

Pelosi, has crawled her way up through the glass ceiling, and is a major power player. She is very well known for her fundraising skills. Will AOC need her to stay in office? Maybe.
