Throughout his public life, Pritzker has shown a sustained hostility to gun rights, particularly regarding handguns:
When he ran for Congress in 1997, Pritzker called for a 100 percent tax on handguns and handgun ammunition, which he estimated would raise $1 billion a year. (Scott Fornek, “Pritzker, In First Political Run, Vows He Can 'Get The Job Done',” Chicago Sun-Times, 9/7/97)
In the same campaign, he even favored banning the sale of handguns entirely. (Susan Dodge, “Candidates Hit Trail To Congress,” Chicago Sun-Times, 2/22/98)
Above is a small snippet of Pritzker's positions. To be fair, perhaps he has seen the light, realizing that the government is unable to provide for on's self defense.

truly a test for this nation and the AMERICAN people who have become complacent.
When faced with a radical crisis, when the old way of being in the world, of interacting with each other and with the realm of nature doesn't work anymore, when survival is threatened by seemingly insurmountable problems, an individual life-form -- or a species -- will either die or become extinct or rise above the limitations of its condition through an evolutionary leap." ~Eckhart Tolle
I could not make this up:
"Costco is no longer allowing its customers to return some of the products they might have bought in bulk, including toilet paper, which is highly coveted and hard to come by amid the new coronavirus panic."
Would you want to take back products that may be contaminated by Covid 19?
I saw that coronavirus stayed for over 17 days on surfaces aboard a cruise ship.
I do have stock in a company that tests for spore contamination. The stock went up by $25 today!

Fred if you think that a returned sealed package of toilet paper could have the Wuhan virus then you must also consider all the other packages in the store that are examined by others who may potentially be infected.
Good for you that the spore contamination testing company is doing well. I can figure out why they would be prospering unless they do something other that testing for spore contamination.

Turns out the source I read was wrong. Coronavirus wasn't still alive after 17 days. RNA fragments of CV were still found after 17 days. The virus was long dead.
