You have to think the Democrats will be very unpopular if they try to take the extra $400 for the unemployed, and even more will be upset if the courts keep withholding.

So far this is looking like a big defeat for Pelosi. Her trillion dollar bill with tons of money for her buddies now won't be passed. I don't like everything Trump does but I enjoy watching Botox Betty frustrated.

That wasn’t really true though was it? The democrats had pulled out of negotiations because they were demanding ridiculous things that had nothing to do with Covid relief. Now they want to negotiate again because they realize that they just handed Trump a huge win. They can’t challenge his EO without looking like they’re taking money out of the hands of those that need it. It’s almost comical how easily Trump plays them.

Payroll tax cuts are for the wealthy crowd? The people who work, you mean.

Maybe you were thinking about capital gains tax cuts? Doing this would encourage investors to go back into the cities and rebuild the businesses looted and burned down.

So now people making less than $100,00/year are the wealthy? You can't answer a direct question so dig in for a big hand full and throw it at the wall. Somethings gotta' stick.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

Liberal ideology doesn't understand the power of incentives, so when they use an incentive in some policy it usually just creates more dependency and fewer paths to success. If anyone would like some examples I'd be happy to oblige.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
