You are wrong on this. Absentee balloting is requesting a ballot from your local government body. Statewide mail ballot elections are the election board sending out ballots to whoever is registered, even if they are dead, or have moved, or are in Alzheimer's care. Do you really think someone who is living in Florida right now is going to request a ballot to vote in the Colorado election? But if you have moved to Florida, will your ballot get forwarded? Or will it go to a person who could just fraudulently fill it out and mail it in?
