Omitted from the DNC Convention

Usually during a convention it’s the nominee that is highlighted, but the DNC almost completely bypassed Biden’s
47 years of public office and just focused on Trump. Where were all the people who think he is worthy of the office based on his record of success and good decisions/opinions? They also didn’t talk about policies Biden plans to push forward, only that he is a “companionate man”.

Are Democrats really thinking that this will give Americans the confidence to vote for Biden? They also focused on how bad America is in almost every way. The RNC is planning the opposite approach which will highlight all the good things this country has created and the people who made those things possible. I’m guessing they will also focus on what Trump has done and not as much about how bad Biden is.

The media won’t cover it the same way they did the DNC, but their influence is thankfully falling so I hope Trump gets more of a bump than Biden got.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

His platform is really simple. He will cure Covid, fix the economy, give everyone a job, cure cancer, fix global warming, end poverty and cure hunger. He’s promised all of these things at one point or another. He’s as credible as a carnival barker.

Actually, that's the Republican platform for Trump.

Another interesting omission, no talk of the impeachment failure from this Spring. There is talk that the House wants to impeach President Trump again. Maybe it will happen if the Democrats can win back the Senate. Looks like they will add senate seats in Arizona and Colorado and lose an Alabama seat.
You have to imagine they would be quite upset if Donald can win another term.

You're adorable. Remember when Trump made all those campaign promises in 2016 - defeat ISIS in 30 days, get Mexico to pay for his beautiful wall, eliminate the federal debt in 8 years, etc.? You remember that? Yeah, that was awesome.

But go ahead and put words in Joe's mouth while ignoring the foot in Trump's.

Aww, thanks. I don’t care about Trump’s broken promises as he has worked on making them happen since he’s been in office. Biden has made the same promises for years and never even gotten close.

You're right, Obama and Biden didn't cross off any of their promises and the big one (the ACA) ended up costing us more and gave us less choices, a total disaster. 47 years of promises and delivered nearly nothing, but now that he can't remember where he is, Biden is suddenly going to be a great leader who gets things done.

Anyone else think Biden got the nomination only because he put in the years? Like McCain and Dole. Biden has never shown himself to be a powerful member of the Senate. And when he was VP, he wasn't one to take on a massive new project like getting ACA passed. They only sent him out for foreign funerals.

hmm, powerful member of the Senate? What bills did he write? His record is that of a segregationist racist who wanted blacks jailed so his kids didn't have to grow up in the "jungle". He voted to outlaw gay marriage. He backed the Iraq war. All of these things he was a follower on except the Crime Bill to jail blacks.
