The virus is bad, but the shutdown is also bad. I just read a story where military suicides are up due to Covid-19 clampdowns. Drug and alcohol abuse are also rising. The economy is trying to come back but now American Airlines just had to lay off tens of thousands. Disney too is having to lay off tens of thousands. Do you have no sympathy for those people and their families?

There are costs to shutting down the country. As our treatments have become much more effective, it is time to start opening things back up.

I would bet it is declining rapidly as health professionals learn more about treatments and get better weapons against Covid-19. President Trump has been treated with some medications I hadn't seen used with Covid-19 before.

While your statement is hopeful and positive...it seems is not true.

The virus continues to exhibit additional UNKNOWN factors...doctors are in a learning loop...as Ramage pointed, the virus portal can be the eyes....it is NOW KNOW it is also an aerosol form, not just droplets...
the virus apparently is MORE MULTIFACETED than anything seen before..... doctors are attempting
to understand the reason that RECOVERED PATIENTS, still have many problems/symptoms months AFTER 'recovery"....."the long haulers" are a segment that is being studied....they have NO idea WHY the
after affects linger for so long.


The vaccine is at least 1 year away( and for ALL to be vaccinated) MANY DEATHS BEFORE THIS IS OVER.
