Perhaps they were just used to wearing a mask? Perhaps they enjoy wearing a mask? Perhaps it gives them comfort? Perhaps they were a type of mask that ties around the back and is difficult to put on or take off? You make a lot of assumptions.

Yes, some people are going to be more comfortable wearing masks. Asians have been wearing masks in public for decades. Me? I rip mine off in the car like I have just finished an 18 hour heart surgery.
Mask requirements have kept me home more than usual, maybe that is the secret? If I voluntarily stay at home, I am not as likely to get infected.
So those states with no mask requirements might have their economies rebound faster, especially brick and mortar retail. Hopefully masks will be more comfortable in the fall with cooler temps.

71 percent enrollment....working on dosing SECOND dose to participants....I don't see a way for this to
be released to the public BEFORE election....several weeks have to elapse for 2nd dosage and THEN
WEEKS to see a small long term effect....probably by end of year release IF THINGS GO GOOD.
