Who cares? Please list the 17 Republican senators who will vote to convict President Trump? Should we also impeach President Washington for owning slaves and committing war crimes during the French and Indian War?

Did Washington incite domestic terrorists to attack the U.S. Government?

Honestly, some of the justifications for this insurrection coming from the right wing is just ludicrous. Trump fueled hysteria for months and years in his followers, finally lighting the match on January 6. Donald needs to be held accountable, which is why he was impeached. Now he should be convicted.

But he won't be convicted.

You are most likely correct, but if there is true justice in this world, he should be found guilty.

If there were true justice in this country, he would be president and January 6th would have been just another date. Convict Trump for nothing and see what happens. You think January 6th was something?

Yeah, I know what you erroneously believe, but you see, there's an actual track record of Trump encouraging insurrection, whereas there is not evidence of election fraud.

A pretty good summary of his fomenting!

One crucial element of Trump’s insurrectionism was a persistent message to ignore unfavorable rulings by courts. “These States ‘election laws’ were made up by local judges & politicians, not by their Legislatures,” he said of states that had voted for Biden. Therefore, the president told his followers, “the whole State Election” should be discarded as illegal. When the Supreme Court refused to intervene on Trump’s behalf, he scoffed, “The U.S. Supreme Court has been totally incompetent and weak on the massive Election Fraud.” He demanded that Republican senators “step up and fight for the Presidency” because “Courts are bad” and had failed to stand with him.

I see a bunch of partial quotes taken out of context. Even so, there is no incitement there. Questioning election results and illegal changes made by people other than state legislatures is not inciting anything.
