The union could not protect her.....documented data to the max...in answer to the question.
THE UNION ALSO protects the employee when management is abusive or dead ass wrong. (in my case,bereavement pay being withheld,in another case,REVERSE discrimination, I had SENIOR RIGHTS
job in question (senior most qualified)...it was given to a less senior person,I took it to the union and WON.
THE ABUSE, from AMAZON towards it's employees,is well documented...but the SOUTH was the test case and I guess they have NO GUTS and want to be abused....the union would have STOPPED that
shit. It is the same with nurses(I have intimate knowledge of the field,thru a past close friend.)
From what I understand,California has a nursing union...the nurses R run ragged in other states,no
breaks,no lunches,pee time is "piss poor" and many nurses suffer from UT INFECTIONS. THEN,
AFTER SHIFT IS OVER,THEY STILL R REQUIRED TO ''CHART''......it is a LONG run your ass off day.
(and that is BEFORE COVID)
