If the party you voted for wanted a woman (Harris) to be president, they could have voted for her in the primaries, but they didn't. She was unpopular then and she's already proven to be incompetent when it comes to the border. If you really thing a president Harris would be a "plus", I'd just like to know what in her history would make you think that. It seems to me that her path to the VP seat was anything but earned.

Vice presidents are chosen for a number of reasons, to deliver a region, deliver a group of voters, to round out a ticket. Biden was chosen to placate old guard Democrats. Bush was chosen to satisfy old guard WASP Republicans. LBJ was chosen to deliver the South. Kamala? She was chosen for her multi-ethnic status and sex. She was Asian, she was Jamaican, she was a woman. Hillary Clinton chose an old boring white guy so he wouldn't steal the spotlight from her.
