VP Pence was right. After President Trump's peace deal with the Taliban, the US held a nation with millions and millions of people relatively peaceful with an occupying force of only 2500 Americans. Astounding! Part of that was the Taliban was willing to wait until the American withdrawal. But no one knew Team Biden would so botch the pullout! 1) First get out the American civilians and westerners. 2) Destroy military stocks and assets. Use Bagram airforce base as your extraction point. 3) Pull out Afghan allies. 4) Then let the Afghan special forces and Americans withdraw. Biden made a hash out of this. Totally embarrassing and now our allies have lost confidence in America.

Sorry HA, but you CNN has no idea how a Trump administration would have handled this situation. CNN can't say that Trump would have watched city after city fall to the Taliban then decide to pull the troops and close the air base BEFORE pulling all our Americans and Afghan allies. If that was Trump's strategy, I'd like to see you produce that evidence.
CNN is suffering badly because they've run out of bad Trump stories so now they are trying to tell their sheep how Trump would have had the same problem. Biden is out before the next election because he has made the one of the biggest military blunders in history and has been lying to Americans and the world.

were never addressed by the agreement (or Trump)...SO-O-O what would U expect to happen? EXACTLY

Your words are meaningless unless you have some kind of magical power that could prove how Trump's team would have exited Afghanistan. If you can prove to me that Trump would have pulled the military and closed the airbase BEFORE pulling the citizens and allies, then you make a good point. If you can't do that then you are just speculating based on your hate for Trump.

Once again HA, if President Trump's deal was so bad and the Taliban violated it, why didn't President Biden scrap it? He modified it enough to move the withdrawal date from May to September so he was willing to change things.
