DEJA VUE......down the drain

Both parties thought it was a good idea for Americans to buy homes so they kept rates artificially low and made it to easy to borrow. Our home has increased in price 40% in the last four years during a freaking global pandemic. Unsustainable and you know that it will collapse again.

AHEM.....

President George W. Bush
President George W. Bush asked Congress on September 20, 2008 for the authority to spend as much as $700 billion to purchase troubled mortgage assets and contain the financial crisis. I sorry, but the BLAME IS EQUALLY DISTRIBUTED.

AHEM, do you not understand the difference in circumstances? Do you realize what would have happened if those banks were not bailed out? Do you not remember the panic around the country about banks going into default? You should also remember who pushed for the lower loan standards... it wasn't Republicans.

Please tell me how spending 5 TRILLION was not economic suicide had it been accomplished by Democrats. That money was not needed for the economy to recover, especially since they already spend way to much on the "rescue" plan of 1.9 trillion.

You bypassed my point as well... tell me how we would be in beter shape if Manchin and Sinnema had not stopped the insanity... YOU CAN'T, and that's why my point is accurate and your deflection to Bush is a weak response.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

i'M NOT BY PASSING YOUR POINT......THE FINANCIAL "FUN GUYS" WERE DEALING IN DERIVATIVES,
everyone jumped on the money train with exotic loans (no docs,no problem....here's your papers) THAT was greed from the banking gang, THEN the banking gang turned around and flipped the deal into a derivative(which was a facade from the get go.....''funny money" floating around in space. It was a shake
down that was SUPER BENEFICIAL for the banking sector. The D's did not invent/nor establish the derivatives.

I already posted I watched IN REAL TIME WHEN ING AND LEHMAN WENT DOWN.....KRAMER WAS SCREAMING BEFORE HAND....YOU IDIOTS,WE R IN TROUBLE,WTF. GIVE IT UP, RICK...IT WAS A DOUBLE FUBAR.......then and now.

Lets just break this down to a simple question you can either answer or you can't.

When Manchin and Sinnema blocked Democrats from printing another 6 Trillion to pump into the economy, was that good or was that bad? According to the people you voted for it was bad. I beliueve these two people saved Americans hundreds of billions in more inflation, thus saving their party from even more anger from the public.

So, did those two people do a good thing or were they wrong?

The logical thing was to stop the tsunami that was gathering....so YES, the right thing to do was DONE.
We r STILL right back to a broken economy,BECAUSE ,as I stated before, the engine light was red lining, but
a "wait and watch" stance was taken. JUST LIKE Q4 of 2007,when the engine "red lined".

Just as a side note (I may have ALREADY posted)....I watched Q3,4 2007 and pleaded with my DH to sell the house,he was very reluctant to do that (air force brat)....when the interested rates went down AGAIN, I was adamant, WE WILL NOT GET OUR EQUITY OUT IF WE DO NOT SELL NOW. House on market Nov.07
sold in 8 hours,FULL PRICE and we closed on PEARL HARBOR DAY IN DEC 2007......they OFFICIAL declared the "great recession" Q1 2008.

YES!! YOU DID IT!! THANK YOU!!

I hate having to pry the truth out of you all the time but it's the only way I can know if you are really insane like the hard left or if you're like my parents and just don't want to admit the Democrats are mostly insane and have ZERO understanding of economics. I believe most of the R's don't either, but at least they didn't want to pump 6 Trillion dollars on top of an inflation fire.

Manchin and Sinnema are the most hated people in their own party and that should tell you how completely lost that party has become. They may not have stopped this coming crash, but they definitely gave us more time.

And now President Biden wants to bail out student loan holders. Is he bailing out the students? Or those who financed the loans?

That's not enough voters to make a difference so their plan will be to buy huge groups of voters in some other way we haven't seen yet. That's really the only way they can gain support at this point since everything they touch turns to shit. I wouldn't be surprised if they started running on some kind of unviversal income idea that would make up for the $500 a month we're all losing. Of course that would make the problem even worse, but Democrats don't take logic into consideration with most of their ideas.
