A SMALL BIT OF HUMOR - MY PERSPECTIVE

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have outdone themselves with "wokeness" once again on behalf of the animal kingdom. This time, PETA is in the news for urging Major League Baseball to stop referring to pitcher warmup areas as "bullpens".

Because we're sure this hurts the animals' feelings when they sit around and watch baseball, right?

And while that's sarcasm, that hasn't stopped the agency from petitioning the MLB to change the term. PETA actually argued that "bullpen" is insensitive to cows, TMZ reported this week. PETA is insisting that the MLB change the name of the warmup area to the "arm barn".

The Bullpen name came about because Bull Durham tobacco would post their billboards above the area where pitchers prepared to enter the game.

This is what I’m talking about. Our options here are:
1. Disbelieve this completely because it can’t possibly be true. Then find out later it is true.

2. Don’t say a thing about it because you don’t want to post another insane left wing story because you’re just trying to post more positive ones.

3. Post the story and give an honest summary of how you see it.

But seriously, I’m seeing a new insane woke story almost daily now, so this stuff is spreading like The Blob. Problem is, this really crazy stuff barely gets any mention in the Democrat media so some of you are not seeing everything.

This is PETA so I’m sure they’ll have to report on it a little.

I found this two cartoons to be witty. Upon further examination, they reflect the truth of what is happening to our society.
