Books aren't being banned. With the internet, any book kids want access to they can find. They can find hard-core porn if they want it.
Similar with the claims that LGBT are being threatened. Give me a break. LGBT percentages are the highest ever. Teens are proud to be pansexual, etc. Same sex marriage laws aren't being repealed. It is much easier being LGBT in the US than ever before.

Obama yesterday:

"Yet despite the fact that we know essentially clinically tested the vaccine on billions of people worldwide, around one in five Americans is still willing to put themselves at risk and put their families at risk, rather than get vaccinated.

TESTED the vaccine?

People are dying because of disinformation.

Censorship is coming and Democrats will be cheering for it.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I believe that there will be ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those who do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the system of exploitation. I believe that there will be that kind of clash, but I don't think it will be based on the color of the skin...”

Of course, Malcolm has been wrong before. HA, do you really think you are that exploited?

I thought that Donal Trump said this.

Could we consider people who've been jailed for over a year for just trespassing in the capital building with no evidence of colluding to overthrow the government as being oppressed?

How about a young adult denied admission to a college because he or she is Asian or white? (also using that standard for job hires)

Who exactly would Malcom X consider to be the oppressors and the oppressed in 2022 if he was still alive? I'd love to hear that question answered.

The ONE PERCENT would certainly NOT be the oppressed......

one-percenter (plural one-percenters) A member of the top one percent of a population by wealth, ability, etc. ( same as the ninety-ninth percentile), especially in a society with high wealth inequality.

The One Percent pay the vast majority of income taxes. Those earning less, the lower 54% paid no federal income taxes and many received Earned Income Tax Credits. That is repression. European nations have VAT taxes so that taxes are spread more equitably than the US does.
