Unscheduled in the sense that it was not announced. The first statement from the press secretary said that he was getting his routine examination. Having had the procedure you know that a bowel prep is required prior to the procedure. With Slo Joe's "lid on it" routine, the prep would have fit right in.

Ok, thanks for the clarification... your first post did not make it clear that we really needed Harris to be president for an hour so she could save us if the world blew up.

As for Trump being in the hospital, I don't remember any outrage about Pence not being officially made president with some kind of cerimony, I just figured it's an automatic assumption that Pence would have presidential authority if needed. I'll have to research that when I get more time.

I do know why Democrats and their media propaganda arm made a big deal about Kamala being in charge for an hour though. Democrats really need to check off identity boxes whenever possible and being able to say that they installed the FIRST "woman of color" in the big chair is a really big deal for them, even though it was absolutely meaningless to most Americans.

Back to Trump being in the hospital in "DIRE SHAPE", I can only think of 3 possibilities for why he was in and out so fast without being placed on a ventilator...
1. He really wasn't in dire shape but extra caution was taken because of his important job.
2. He was in really bad shape but because of the therapeutics he took, he recovered very fast. There was little to no talk about those therapeutics being effective at that time by the supposed experts like Fauci or the media talking heads so credit was not going to be given to those drugs and monoclonal antibodies.
3. Or, Trump just has a superhuman immune system that kicked Covid's ass at record speed.

Maybe you have another explanation?

Three days in and out HA, that's a lot shorter than the average stay for serious covid illness. I'm not sure why you always have to whip yourself up into an anti-Trump fury with EVERY TOPIC, but I think for your own sake, you should give it a rest and focus more on the present problems we are experiencing. The 25th Amendment reiterates what is stated in Article 2, Section 1: that the Vice President is the direct successor of the President. He or she will become President if the President cannot serve for whatever reason.
